Magento 1.8 – Browser such as Firefox Remember me no longer off data for Admin

The one and the other is possibly noticed, that the Browser wie z.B. Firefox the admin password and the user name is no longer stored and is therefore always had to re-enter the user name and password each time you visit.

It came from Firefox neither the request, whether the login data should be stored, nor any query.

This is because, that Magento one line of code is included, which successfully prevented, Firefox stores the login. This of course has security backgrounds. But if you still want to, that his Firefox stores the Administration Data, can comment out this line.

It is apparent sie im Ordner app / design / admin html / default / default / template in which login.phtml about. in line 60/61.

It is also nice clear before:

The line following

<input type="text" class ="input-text no-display" name ="dummy" id="dummy" />

then needs to be commented out or deleted. Then the browser will ask you again, whether to save.

Should it not work out yet, additionally ca. in line 50 after

Search and

<form method="post" action="" id="LoginForm" autocomplete ="on">

change.
