Funny! Not so long ago, there was no problem about the Magento backend on the Magento Connect Manager access. In the backend you went to system > Magento Connect > Magento Connect Manager, then again gave his admin login details and was in the Magento Connect Manager.
Suddenly is after entering the login data but “Invalid login credentials” top left on a white page.
The solution of the matter is, that probably wrong FTP access data stored in Magento are respectively. originally, that the FTP credentials were changed. The credentials are stored in the config.cfg in the folder downloader in the root directory of the Magento installation.
Sometimes it helps fastest the current config.cfg simply rename (Example: config.cfg-BAK). Then reload the Magento Connect page in the browser. Magento should then create a new config.cfg. By then it works may.
If no new config.cfg be created, are usually a still in the Connect Manager. There, enter the FTP data under Settings.
If it does not work, the (old) File (rename back &) Open and rel. look far back to the access. These look something like this:
“ftp://ftpXYZ-User:Passwort@www.domain.com/www/magento/”
Used in Magento versions 1.4.1.1 bus 1.8.1.0.. Ask, Comments, Suggestions? Gladly!
Thank you very much, das war sehr hilfreich. Ich hatte den Fehler und wäre nie darauf gekommen, dass es am kürzlich geänderten FTP Zugang lag.
Allerdings heißt bei mir die Datei connect.cfg
