Magento – PayPal payment was not authorized but

With a new shop was suddenly, that payments, made via PayPal no longer directly “completed” but were on “Authorized”. The amounts had to be manually fed. While this may all of a batch tool to a Times be made but was the very sub-optimal, because the customer got another e-mail.

To prevent this and to adjust, that PayPal payments are always booked directly and not manually, must be at the back end system > Configuration > Sales > PayPal is the payment of Action “Authorization” on “Sale” be converted. Then the reservation made directly.
