Virtual article or other articles, the 0 Euro cost this payment method “No payment information is required” would enable, must consider, that dispatching must be free, so that the payment does. How do I order something, is no longer the subtotal 0 and therefore there is no longer the payment method.
This does not forget…namely, it can bring to incandescence, if you tried and tried and this payment does not appear 🙂
But a more important point:
There is an error in Magento, prevents, that in a normal product, which is free, (In contrast to above) but shipping brings with it, Payment methods are shown. So you can not pay for the shipping of a free product. Since this is very annoying, Magento so far (Version 1.6.1.0) but has brought no solution to this, you can very well with a patch / fix from 4magen.to manage.
The problem itself, and a “dirty” Solution can be found HERE. In this solution u.a. container.php and worked in the config.xml, but not sure which update is. Thus, it is very nice, that the developer in a post FURTHER wonderful patch together a nice solution provides, which can be played directly in Magento and after a cache reload the desired payment method in the checkout again indicating.
So then the payment works well with free product.
