Magento – Checkout / Cash back to the cart

After a move from one shop to another server suddenly no longer worked the checkout of a shop. Thus, we described the problem:

We have a Magento 1.4.1.1. Installation, which runs fine. We now have a 1:1 Copy of it and have made this a problem with the check.

These are the facts:

– Magento 1.4.1.1
– 1:1 Copy of functioning installation
– Templatename “Test”
– Problem is only when all caches are enabled
– Problem at the point, if you click, according to the billing address on Next. Once or twice does the jump to the next step (Shipping Address), From then it is usually / almost always led back to the cart
– If you deactivate the "Configuration" cache, there are no problem (only then that the shop is extremely lame)
– If you use the default theme or blank it also works with enabled cache

We have assumed, that it is possibly the theme and therefore the bright and also tried default theme and here it worked flawlessly. With all the caches. Therefore, we have taken the theme and blank (to 99,9% the styles.css) adapted, that the "test" theme corresponds. But then we had this same problem as with the "test" Theme. Jump in the cart after the invoice address.
We then replaced the styles.css completely against the default themes styles.css (So they are copied to the "test" folder). Again same problem with the jump in the cart.
However, we have the css from the "test" theme deleted, so that the theme of access to the styles.css of the default themes must (So ansich the same file) it works perfectly again.

This results in so many places does not make sense, one that we are at a loss:

– 1:1 Copy
– Deactivation of the cache solves the problem
– It does not work does not consistently, but usually not
– default and bright work
– default css Problem solving, when in "test" css folder, however, but if they remain in their own folder

We had raised the issue with mcrypt ever with our hosting, However, this excluded, of 1. Other installations run smoothly and 2. yes the error only on certain themes and 3. not always occur.

Was really funny. Sorry, could not really help us. What we did then the solution was Firebug or. the sign and timing. Here you can see in a separate window, steps which run straight to the page or. which scripts. Firebug told here with, that was canceled due to a timeout to navigation. Now it was find out, why this time-out occurs. Here were missing CSS files, the solution. Among other things, the lack of Symmetrics trustedrating.css (Market Ready Germany). Furthermore, the print.css and stock_indicator.css. If these were now available, It worked wonderfully again.

This is so special, probably find that after only a few are, But maybe it helps one or the other.

Addendum dated 01.02.2012:
Today we had the same problem suddenly at a 1.5. er Shop. And this after we Amasty Order Attributes in an updated version (before 1.0.9.) were recorded. With o.g. Solution to the problem was solved but then again.
