We use a project official DHL Intraship Extension. A really good extension for Magento, the enabling users, Package labels directly from Magento to generate.
The extension takes it inter alia:
After clicking “Send” in an order, one finds an extended overview on tracking area:
Here then the product can be selected. Subsequently, the relevant data is processed and ready in a new area Displayed menu items.
Then they can generate all or some and print labels. Thus Magento communicates on one side directly to the Intraship account and on the other hand, data such as tracking number back radioed to Magento, which then the customer in the mail about the shipping tracking number information.
Thus, the semi-Extension- (allegedly also fully) automatically create DHL shipping labels and you do not write off the data.
This is just the basics of this extension. CONDITION is naturally, that you have an account for DHL Intraship. Without this it is not of course 🙂
But now it CAN be problems like that following message under the tracking area is trying to create a package:
The DHL Intraship service can z.Z. not be used for dispatch outside of the European Union.
Furthermore, in the DHL Intraship documents is the table more or less empty:
And another problem noticed, when trying to create a label:
Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry ‘4’ for key ‘shipment_id’
A database problem, which announced, that it probably would be duplicate entries. The last two problems were easier to solve: We had made some test orders and labels generated. Start the shop, the shop was once “0” set. So all orders via SQL command, Invoices, Shipments, Credits deleted. This SQL command deleted but not the generated test labels or. their linkage. Thus, they still existed, only the data of the shops were gone. So if a new order has been generated, it was also a new tracking number assigned (Starting at 1 up…). This program was subsequently linked with a DHL label. Only this link existed already. Thus, the ghost was in our case by 6 Orders to end. One would, however, can also delete the links in the DB.
The first problem was solved then: We had the test installation still uses the Magento OnePageCheckout. Here was also the country with shipping queried. In later installed OneStepCheckout we had disabled the exporting country (it is anyway only in Germany). Unfortunately Intraship lacked then the country guide and took it to unfortunately, that it does not go to Germany. And thus was not a use possible. Now we have enabled the exporting country again and Intraship works fully.
Incidentally, a few comments: Updates of the extension to look for in, what is changed. When Intraship extension, there was a sudden “pretty” yellow box in the checkout, in which customers of DHL could have a notification via SMS or email. This fell to a Testcheckout. Otherwise would not have noticed. Could be shut down and then does without problems.
