Magento 1 – Amazon Pay von Creative Style – Payments will not be collected

We use the Amazon Pay extension from Creative Style (Info here) in the current version 3.0.20 and had a Magento 1.9 Suddenly shop the problem, that payments, those through Amazon Payments / Amazon Pay were processed, only authorized but not withdrawn. The order thus remained in the status “Pending” and no longer switched to the “Processing”-Status. An invoice was also not generated. The payment on the Amazon side was also only reserved / reserved, but was not charged. If you wanted to do the job now, you had to generate an invoice manually. Also, that when generating below “Capture online” selected, didn't help and so you then had to collect the payment directly from Amazon. Super annoying and high risk, that orders were left behind.

Of course it was in the extension configuration “authorize & capture” set – but brought nothing. Just like the ticket request to Creative Style. So there was nothing else to do, than to look for yourself. Well stood out, that in the configuration usually two “Allowed return URLs” / “Allowed Return URLs” appear to be

  • “/amazonpayments/advanced_login/redirect/” and
  • “/amazonpayments/advanced_login/redirect/target/checkout/”.

In this case, however, only the former was mentioned and the latter was not. We then looked, why it doesn't work in this shop and in another (,who access the same AP account) already. In this other shop, both urls were displayed. The only visible difference was, that here is the version 2.0.28 was installed and not the latest. So it was downgraded from 3.0.20 on 2.0.28 tried and – it worked. Not only was the second URL displayed – all orders were also processed correctly, the payments collected etc.

The notice was passed on to Creative Style – just take a look, whether that is of interest.
