This resulted first specialized B2E systems. Today I work day-a day with exciting B2C, B2B- and B2E projects and reports in this blog about challenges and give insider tips.

  1. Hallo,

and what do I do if I only had the 404 Get page view?
I've also changed the home page and come back, no longer in my.

I could now only make the adjustment directly in the database rückgfängig.
Does anyone here the corresponding table in the database and the field, in which the home pages of information is stored?

    Thank Besten
    Andreas

    1. In this database can be used in the table value at core_config_data (config_id) 763 be adjusted.
      Path ist admin/startup/page
If so then value for the standard index: Enter dashboard.
How it came to a complete failure? One page links, on which must not be accessed? Or a faulty?

      1. Hallo,

        Thanks for the info.
I've also done it in the meantime. “dashboard” I've re-entered, but I'm still not purely.

It was just the home page in the backend / admin changed. If I try to log into the backend I get a page with no template, Login fields are only displayed (User name, Admin passwort ohne fumando.de template / magento / nimada)
Should I delete the var / cache / *. * File / folder and all? The front end works so far fine. And the front end I do not want to destroy even more.

        Regards
        Andreas

        1. Hi,

by default all files or folders (“magus–0, magus–1,…”), has been saved in / var / cache / are deleted, to clear the cache via FTP. It would also have been a tip, I wanted to write in the last reply. This is still the, I move from here, can say without seeing the page. Good luck!

  2. Hello thank you,

I am running again nunmein system.

Have the table core_config_data compared with a backup and behold:

    in the
    web/secure/base_url
    the
    web/unsecure/base_url
    and the
    admin/url/custom
were also well matched with my change in the Home. It was a mistake / or. a directory specification in there, which I myself have not written in there.

    Best Regards
    Andreas

    1. Gladly!
That the first two URLs were automatically changed, I actually can not really imagine. At the last possible rather.
These are but as I said only abdominal feelings 😉

But beautiful, that it works again.

  3. Hi ... I'm not sure, if I have the same problem as described here. When I log into my Magento backend (the “Overview”-Home page is set up as) The message “404 – Page not found.”Once I ... on any other menu item as customer, Pricing rules, Newsletter, CMS etc. click and then back to “Overview” the page is displayed normal to me. Say, in itself does everything I need at the First Sign of the respective “Detour” first make to click another menu item, and then back.

Does anyone know a solution for this or has the same problem?

      1. The error was from the beginning. Could it but now with the change indicated here as the login file solve. However, one must replace with the code indicated here by a semicolon quotes, otherwise you get an error (at least, was the case with me).
