Ja, that's basically. For this purpose there are functions / Extensions (After “Magento Booking and Reservation” Googling for example,) where you can store when, which appointments take place and how many participants are possible. Customers can then book their participation directly in the shop (like any other item with a defined price, Description etc.). Is an event fully booked, no more tickets can be purchased and the interested party will be informed on the side. In the back end, there is then special book summaries, to see who, booked appointment which has etc.. All in all, a convenient function, once it has been set up correctly.
