You never stop learning and so today I would like to make a short contribution on the subject “Three PayPal links, that you should know as a developer and shop administrator” write.
Known to all, is of course the normal link www.paypal.de or. www.paypal.com – Here payments are made and incoming payments are administered (moved in, partial / refunded) as well as reports etc..
Something lesser known developer.paypal.com – here you register as a shop operator or. Developer with the same credentials as above. Here you can, among other things. “Rest API Apps” be created, to integrate PayPal payment solutions into your own shop project. Here are e.g.. the data required for using PayPal Plus is generated in the shop and can be called up. Sandbox apps and users are also created here with which you can conveniently test the payment process. There is also Api-Call here- und Webhook-Logs. These also help again and again if the payment does not quite work out (in addition to the log file often saved in the shop, e.g.. under var / log / PayPal.log).
And is probably even more unknown www.paypal-status.com – Here you can see the current functional status of the PayPal system. It happens every now and then, that payment problems arise, not necessarily something with the shop or. whose configuration must have to do but come from a general malfunction at PayPal – and that happens every now and then.
