Magento – Double designation of VAT in order eMail

Picture

Stupid, was in the order confirmation of our Magento shops (See. 1.5.1.1 mit Market Ready Germany) in the order confirmation email the tax twice expelled. The total amount was true but it looked totally unprofessional.

To turn this off quickly and comfortably, one goes in

System > Configuration > Control > Display in orders, Invoices, Credits and provides there “See full taxes” on “No”.

Then, the tax only reported once.Picture

Used in Magento Version 1.5.1.0 Comments? Additions? Notes? Gladly!

Since 2009 I have been working intensively with Magento. I started with the creation and operation of B2C stores. This was extended through my work in the logistics sector. This resulted first specialized B2E systems. Today I work day-a day with exciting B2C, B2B- and B2E projects and reports in this blog about challenges and give insider tips.

  1. Almost good 🙂 The problem it, that he then only displays the total tax and thus indicates no percentage more. The need but to my knowledge there are mandatory. Do you also have a solution for it? He would then have so i.d.R.
    Tax (19%) 1,80 €
    show…

  2. We are working with Magento 1.7 and use the German FireGento Setup Module. This does not affect the PDF creation (Market Ready tut es). We have the same problem, if one of the above setting “no” is, missing, the percentage in the indication.
Does anyone have a clue, how this line either removed completely or at least the “Tax” can rename?
It must be possible, are only one line with the percentage as to have.

  3. Moin!

    Did not want my link!

    Then so:

System > Configuration > Control > Display in orders, Invoices, Credits, and there is "View full taxes" to "No".

To rename "tax" to "VAT", I have in the file Mage_Tax.csv in / app / locale / en_US line 116 of

    Tax”,”Tax”
    in
    “Tax”,VAT 19% "

changed. And lo and behold, it is "VAT (19%)'In my e-mails.

  4. Covos danke dir!

Is completely wrong what I have written.
In / app / locale / en_US FireGento_GermanSetup.csv the file and then add line:
    “Tax”,”VAT (19%)”

Of course, only if you use Firegento!!

That's what happens, when one too many sites simultaneously processed!

    1. Hi Bjorn,
and what is, when speaking to Article 7% and 19 % has?
Then it is always 19% displayed?

      1. Correctly. The solution of Bjorn's just QND (quick and dirty) 🙂 and no solution for shops with multiple tax rates. Ansich is provided, that the overall tax or. the amount as “Tax” XY displays. This is then in the online version with a small plus for unfolding of the individual tax rates (already directly or as desired as) and displayed in the print version directly over it with two individual tax rates. This we have e.g.. at a 1.5.er SNM PDF Print version.
